Fees: $180 individual therapy and $324 couples or family therapy (HST included)

Individual, couples and family therapy (Age 16+), and clinical supervision

Therapy Format: In-person or Virtual

Areas of Focus: Communication, Emotional regulation, Stress management, Anxiety, Depression, Relationship conflict

Communicating with your partner is hard.  You replay arguments over and over. You feel criticized by your partner and do not feel heard.  The idea of voicing your needs feel overwhelming and frustrating.  As time has passed, talking to your partner has become minimal.  There is less sharing of your feelings due to feelings of disappointment of not being heard.  Your partner and you feel disconnected and a lack of communication.  You are exhausted at working so hard to have a genuine relationship and it feels like nothing is working.  What you want is to feel you can confide in your partner, feel loved, feel heard and supported.

Relationships are challenging and overwhelming. When you have sessions with me, you will have a safe space to have a voice and feel heard.  I give you a place to express the unspoken, to explore with curiosity, to become aware of relationship patterns. I would be honored to get the opportunity to listen to your story and guide you in finding your voice and become more content with yourself and your relationships.  Our journey together will help you to find the happiness, love and belonging you felt when the relationship began.  It is possible to have a genuine loving and connected relationship where there is trust, support and growth to become a better version of yourself. We all seek for connection and deserve to be heard

I work with individuals aged sixteen plus, by using a range of approaches catered to the wellness goals.  I have a Master’s degree from Saint Paul’s University with a specialization in Couple and Family Therapy.  I can help with creating connections for growth and love.  I welcome you to take the next step by sending me an email or giving me a call to book a free fifteen-minute consult or schedule an initial session to see if we are a good fit.

Individual therapy (Age 17+)

Therapy Format: In-person or Virtual

Areas of Focus: Stress, Anxiety, Depression, Self-esteem, Life Transitions, Relationship Issues, Sexuality/Gender Issues, Polyamory/ethical non-monogamy, and Kink

I support clients with a wide variety of challenges, including stress, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, life transitions, interpersonal relationships, and sexuality/gender issues. Are you struggling with repetitive negative thoughts? Do you feel like you cannot seem to break free from behavioural patterns that are holding you back from living the life you want to live? Are you struggling with unfulfilling relationships or distressed about interpersonal conflicts? Maybe you are grappling with difficulties, shame, or confusion related to sexuality or gender?

I emphasize creating a custom counselling experience that makes you feel safe, respected, understood, and accepted. I do this by engaging genuinely with empathy and prioritizing your unique context and individuality in order to build a strong relationship. It is also important to me that I create an atmosphere of inclusivity, cultural and LGBTQ+ sensitivity/competence, and sex positivity (including issues surrounding sex work, ethical non-monogamy, or kink).

My approach to counselling is based on integrating a variety of approaches depending on the unique needs of my clients. I draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Existential Therapy, Brief Solution-Focused Therapy (BSFT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). Together, I want to learn about what your needs are for therapy, enable you to express yourself and feel heard, and guide you to gain more insight and self-awareness.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) under the supervision of Jessica Ng MA, RP. I hold a double major in Psychology and Anthropology with minors in Gender Studies and Sexuality Studies from Carleton University and am currently completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.

If you think I would be a good fit for you, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I would be honored to assist you with creating the life you desire.
